Earnest Eats Energy Bar – Dark Choco Mint
A great tasting healthy snack with wholesome ingredients!
Earnest Eats Dark Choco Mint baked whole food bar is rather unique in terms of taste and flavor among protein bars. Surprisingly pleasing is the strong refreshing mint flavor when the package was first opened. Earnest Eats energy bar is quite heavy and dense. It is packed into a small square shape as you can see from the picture below. The seemingly small bar is amazingly filling, enough to substitute for breakfast. It’s like thick oatmeal cookie somewhat, but much more delicious to my taste.
“Cool refreshing mint meets rich dark chocolate. Team with oats, nuts, seeds and almond butter, then bake like a cookie,” as Earnest Eats describes.

+ Earnest Eats claims to use only premium, all-natural, whole food ingredients and the following on the company website – Energy Bars page and also on Amazon.com:
“Tasty, chewy and totally uncomplicated”
No spray-on vitamins or protein powders. No corn, peanut or soy oils. No ingredient lists with long compound words. We make our bars with whole nuts, fruits, seeds and grains, and rich roasted almond butter. We bake them in small batches in real ovens for a soft cookie-like texture. And we do all of this so that you can eat a bar carefree, and enjoy every last bite.
Vegan • Wheat-free • 5 g Protein • 190 mg Omega-3s • 100% Natural
(One thing to note is that the amount of omega-3s is not shown in the Nutrition Facts label or on the front of the package. Perhaps, no significant amount of omega-3s exists, if any. I hope Earnest Eats clarify the source of omega-3s and the amounts.)
Earnest Eats baked whole food bars offer other flavors besides Dark Choco Mint, such as Choco Peanut Butter, Almond Trail Mix, Cran Lemon Zest, Dark Choco Espresso, and Apple Ginger. If you are not a huge fan of mint flavor, other bars like Choco Peanut Butter may be a better choice, I guess.
Where to Buy: Earnest Eats sells it at its own company website at $21.00 per 12 bars. Amazon and Vitacost may offer the lowest prices ~$20 or lower per box of 12 bars. Walmart.com also sells it in a box of 12 but at much higher price of $30.21+tax.
